0.1: Introduction

“Wallet” is a premium sports browser-type gambling/betting website which offers best Casino games and Live betting plays for verified members. This test plan is a comprehensive document that lists down all the objectives, test items, test strategy, and resources needed to complete the Wallet project. This serves as a guide for Software Quality Assurance Engineers (SQAE) testing and know the functions and features of Wallet website and Back-Office, ensuring that the Wallet website and Back-Office is functioning well as intended. This Test plan will also serve as a help to others outside the SQAE team (developers, business managers, teams that interact with customers) in comprehending precisely how the website or app will be tested.

1.0 Objectives

1.1: Purpose

This test plan presents all Testing approaches of Software QA Engineers to Wallet application. Having this documentation started means that all ambiguous and vague requirements has been cleared and clarified. What to expect in the test plan:

1.2 Definition

  • Wallet is a web-application for premium sports betting and online gaming operator.

  • The application goes together in a two web URL, specifically:

    • Admin Back Office - This is where the Admin will access the System Back-Office and manage specific features and functions such as “Member Management” and “Member Bet Records”. This Back-Office has two-type login credentials, “Admin” and “Superadmin” account. The “Admin” account has the Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) function, as well as the “Superadmin” account. But the “Superadmin” account has more features like adding Game Vendors.

    • Wallet Website - This serves as the Member Access to the web-application. Only the “Verified Users” are allowed to deposit, withdraw, and play betting games under the Casino and Sportsbook tab. The Members are advice to read the “Safer Gaming” tab for better understanding about Online Gambling/Betting.

Each has environments where the test can run.

  • Development Environment, this is the setting in which tasks like designing, programming, debugging, and other aspects of application/system development are carried out.

  • Staging Environment, before being transferred into the production environment, all the work completed in the development environment is integrated into the constructed system (frequently used to automate the process of software compilation).

-Test Environment, this is where application testing is done to detect and correct faults, as the name suggests.

  • Production Environment, In the last stage of software development, fresh builds and updates are put into use by end users in the production environment.

  • Please Take note that each pair has a unique admin-code to differentiate one from the other.

  • On top of the given accessible URL, there is a super admin page. A control center for superadmin access like creating admin backoffice and adding Vendor games

  • Back Office was for admin access where records such as:

    • Game bet records

    • Member operators

    • Member Groups

    • Member message

    • Member deposits

    • Member withdrawal

    • Number of online members

    • Members registered information

    • Promotions

    • Loyalty levels (VIPs)

    • Game Categories

    • Setting up games

    • Settings and configurations

  • Wallet Site was for user access where features such as:

    • Games

    • Deposit

    • Withdrawal

    • User configuration and settings

    • Messages

    • Reports

1.2: Scope and Limitation

Software Quality Assurance Engineers are expected to test Wallet application from both Back Office and Site pages.

1.2.1: Scope

Web Back-Office (Staging)

Software Quality Assurance Engineers can test manually certain parts (allowed tabs) of the Back-Office. The Testers can create new Member and have the power to do the Create, Read, Update, and Delete a member.

Web Wallet Application (Staging)

Software Quality Assurance Engineers can test manually every part of the Web Wallet.

1.2.2: Limitations

Web Back-Office (Staging)

The Testers are not allowed to delete any existing Members, Vendor, Brands, or any data because it might affect the process of the staging and production environment

Web Wallet Application (Staging)

The limitation on testing the Wallet Website will be on the Casino Games tab. Specifically on testing the games for Automation, since it is so hard to determine the game outcome because of so many game probabilities. So for best testing process of Casino games, it must be done manually by the Testers.
